British Esports and Sunderland Software City unveil Esports Accelerator Programme

British Esports, in collaboration with Sunderland Software City, has announced the launch of the Esports Accelerator Programme.

The programme will take place at the National Esports Performance Campus in Sunderland and aims to support UK-based esports entrepreneurs, graduating students with innovative ideas, and existing businesses looking to pivot into the esports industry.

Kalam Neale, Head of Education at British Esports and Director at Strategic Esports Group, shared details about the programme in a LinkedIn post

"Are you a UK-based esports entrepreneur, a graduating student with a great idea, or an existing business who is looking to pivot into esports and would like to register a business to come and work with us at the National Esports Performance Campus in Sunderland?" Neale asked, encouraging interested parties to sign up.

The Esports Accelerator Programme is an eight-week, fully-funded initiative designed to help participants connect, collaborate, create, and commercialise their esports venture.

Participants will have the chance to network with fellow enthusiasts, learn from top industry professionals, participate in tailored workshops, receive one-to-one mentoring, and connect to an investment network.

Sunderland Software City is a key partner in this initiative, providing additional support and resources to ensure the participants' success.

The National Esports Performance Campus in Sunderland serves as a central hub for this programme. It offers state-of-the-art facilities and resources to help participants achieve their goals. The campus is dedicated to nurturing talent and driving innovation in the esports sector.
