Imarticus Learning and SRMIST launch Master’s in FinTech program to strengthen India’s financial technology workforce
Imarticus Learning has partnered with the SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) to introduce a Master’s in FinTech program in India.
The team up will equip students with expertise in financial technologies and prepare them for leadership roles in the country’s rapidly expanding FinTech sector.
Program overview
The Master’s in FinTech program will provide students with a comprehensive understanding of emerging financial technologies. The curriculum covers blockchain applications, digital currencies, financial modeling, machine learning, AI in fintech, risk management, InsurTech, and RegTech. It also includes modules on regulatory frameworks, payment systems, lending, and other key aspects shaping the fintech industry.
Students will gain practical experience through industry workshops, masterclasses by fintech leaders, and experiential learning activities such as simulations and real-world projects. The program will also incorporate networking events and inter-college competitions, fostering collaboration and innovation.
The two-year, full-time, on-campus program at SRMIST is designed to provide graduates with fintech expertise, positioning them for high-demand roles in India’s evolving financial sector.

India’s FinTech
India’s fintech industry is experiencing rapid growth, with JM Financial & Beams FinTech Fund projecting that by 2030, India will have around 150 fintech unicorns valued at $500 billion. This expansion is expected to create new employment opportunities, increasing the demand for professionals with financial and technological expertise.
The Master’s in FinTech program is designed to address this skills gap by developing a workforce equipped with cutting-edge financial technology knowledge.
