TutorABC appoints Wang Hongzhe as Brand Consultant to fuel AI-driven English learning
TutorABC, a global online language education provider, has appointed Wang Hongzhe as Brand Consultant and Ambassador for TutorABC Junior.
Wang, a ‘children's development expert’, will contribute to the platform’s instructional approach.
Wang Hongzhe’s role in TutorABC Junior
Wang will support TutorABC Junior in refining its AI-driven personalized learning system, which adapts lessons based on students' interests and proficiency levels.
Wang said:
"In my 20 years in education, I've repeatedly seen children lose motivation, struggle to find sound study methods, and score well on tests yet fail to communicate in real-world scenarios. I encountered these same obstacles as a parent—until I discovered TutorABC Junior, which tackles all these issues through a remarkably holistic approach."
The platform applies inquiry-based learning (Big Question) to encourage critical thinking and active participation. It also uses the spiral teaching method, which reinforces previous lessons, and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), integrating science, culture, and other subjects into English lessons.
TutorABC Junior’s curriculum and teaching standards
Wang highlighted the qualifications of the platform’s educators:
"As a children's development expert, I believe high-quality instruction is the foundation of effective learning. utorABC Junior's teacher training is the most rigorous I've encountered: each of its 35,000 global native-speaking educators is fully trained under the Cambridge English Teaching Framework, holds TESOL/TEFL certification, and has more than five years of experience teaching children."
The curriculum aligns with Taiwan’s 108 Curriculum Guidelines and includes Oxford-based materials. It also provides GEPT (General English Proficiency Test) preparation, aimed at developing both exam skills and practical communication abilities.
The platform follows a Four-Teacher Premium Support Model, which includes a native-speaking teacher, a bilingual teacher, a tutor for reinforcement, and a learning advisor.
TutorABC Junior has kidSAFE and COPPA certifications, ensuring compliance with online safety and privacy regulations. Parents can monitor student progress through a dedicated app, and lessons are available with flexible scheduling.
The program integrates British and American curricula, supporting students transitioning between different education systems. The structured preview and review sessions aim to improve retention and engagement, with students showing an average proficiency increase of 21% within seven weeks.
Wang added:
"Beyond that, the platform's AI-personalized courses, Oxford-based curriculum, alignment with Taiwan's 108 Curriculum Guidelines, and GEPT exam prep ensure that students not only excel on tests but also gain the confidence to use English in real-life settings."
