Jessica Jeffers appointed as OGAP Division Manager at BW Walch in aim to boost maths education
BW Walch has announced the appointment of Jessica Jeffers as Division Manager for the OGAP (Ongoing Assessment Project) division, marking a significant development for the company's professional development initiatives in mathematics education across the United States.
Jeffers brings a comprehensive background in education and leadership to her new role, with extensive experience in OGAP training for district clients. Her expertise is expected to contribute significantly to the OGAP division at BW Walch, which was established in 2016 to offer professional development for math teachers through a network of authorised facilitators. This initiative stems from a project associated with the National Science Foundation.
As Division Manager, Jeffers will oversee the strategic expansion of OGAP, collaborating with school districts, educators, and facilitators to manage and implement the programme effectively. Her role includes promoting continuous learning and improvement within the division.
