TED-Ed taps Kahoot! learning platform to deliver free interactive learning content for students and educators
Kahoot! has announced a new partnership with TED to provide free interactive learning resources through its platform. The team up combines TED-Ed’s educational content with Kahoot!’s interactive learning tools, offering students, teachers, and parents access to educational materials.
TED-Ed content will be integrated into the Kahoot! platform. The resources include TED-Ed’s animated videos covering topics such as history, science, and human biology. These animations, developed with input from TED speakers, educators, and experts, are designed to encourage learning and curiosity.
Eilert Hanoa, CEO of Kahoot!, explained the purpose of the collaboration:
“This partnership between Kahoot! and TED brings together two powerhouses of knowledge sharing, connecting learners worldwide with ideas, insights, and skills to not only adapt to but create lasting change in the 21st century.”
The TED-Ed content is available for free and can be accessed in classroom settings, for self-study, or at home. The initial release marks the beginning of the collaboration, with plans to expand content offerings in 2025 to reach more age groups and educational topics.
Logan Smalley, Founder of TED-Ed, commented on the initiative’s focus:
“When students are curious, the possibilities are limitless. By combining TED-Ed Animations with Kahoot!’s interactive platform, we’re equipping today’s students, teachers, and lifelong learners with tools to explore, question, and grow—ensuring that the best ideas of today empower changemakers both now and in the future.”
